ROCHESTER - Pauline Ida Taylor, 87, of Madison Ave. died Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. She was born February 26, 1927, in Farmington, the daughter of Ralph and Ethel (Thompson) Chesley.

Pauline worked as a sample stitcher for Hubbards Shoe and Canobie Shoe for many years. She loved helping others so after retiring she worked for Meals on Wheels and The Homemakers of Strafford County. She loved all animals and was known to feed nuts to squirrels inside her kitchen. She adored all of her cats over the years and treated them as her beloved children.

She was predeceased by a sister Lois (Chesley) York, and a nephew Terry C. York. Pauline is survived by a niece Sharon (York) Sniffin, her husband Gary and their two daughters Katherine Stone and Ann Richard; niece Sandie York and her daughter Jillian York.
