ROCHESTER - Patricia D. Slager, 77, died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Dover Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dover, after a period of failing health.

Patricia was born in Lawrence, Mass. on February 10, 1937, the daughter of George and Rella (Ouellette) Dumais. Before her retirement she worked as a tax examiner of the IRS. She loved crafts and enjoyed attending Native American powwow. Patricia was predeceased by her brother Kenneth Dumais.

Surviving members of the family include: three daughters, Lianne Johnston and her husband Tom of Lowell, Mass., Kathleen Caffrey and her husband Jay of Salem, and Michele Dumont and her husband Larry of Rochester, two sons, Richard Slager and his wife Vickie of Pittsfield, and Timothy Slager and his wife Christine of Franklin, as well as fourteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
