ROCHESTER - Gerald "Gerry" Barry Cullen, died on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at Frisbee Memorial Hospital. Gerry, longtime partner of Debra Forbes of Rochester was raised in Danvers, Mass.. He was the son of the late Walter and Catherine (Hartnett) Cullen.

He was a graduate of St. John's Prep and attended Salem State University. He enjoyed playing darts and was on several North Shore teams and was President of the Minuteman Dart League. At the Prep he was an outstanding member of the hockey team. He worked for many years in the family business, Cullen Fuel. During the last few years Gerry enjoyed his retirement by working in the yard tending his flowers and plants and creating a beautiful landscape. Along with his love of gardening Gerry was an avid fan of the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins.

He is survived by his girlfriend Deb, his brothers, Walter "Mike" and sister in law Darlene Cullen of Key West, Fla., Thomas Cullen of Danvers, Peter and sister in law Yevgeniya Cullen of Danvers and his two sisters Trudy Cullen of Danvers and Cathy Gareri and brother in law Paul of Beverly. He is also survived by a large extended family of cousins and nieces and nephews.
