ROCHESTER - Mary T. Fowler, Age 84 of Rochester, died on November 11, 2014, peacefully, surrounded by love at her family farm. She was born in Boston, Mass., to Blanche King Tonkin of Conway. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Verne A. Fowler in 2007 and her sister Ann Brooke in 2005. She was a graduate of St Mary's HS class of 1950 and Exeter School of Nursing class of 1966. Mary worked as an LPN at Frisbee Memorial Hospital, Health Care Manor and the Rochester Manor and continued after retirement to work as a hospice volunteer. Mary has been a parishioner and deaconess of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church for 64 years in Rochester.

Mary touched many throughout her life and career as a Nurse. Her passion was working with geriatric patients. Her love and support for her family was immeasurable. Mary was the pillar of strength for her family. She loved the family farm and truly enjoyed every moment with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by her extended family to include sister in laws Eleanor Littlefield and Joanne Fowler, Aunt Marie Thompson and Uncle Arthur King of Conway and many lifelong friends.

She leaves behind her children and their spouses Virginia Rutledge and Sandra Eynon of Rochester, Leann and David Pickering of Warwick RI, Dennis Fowler, Katherine Fowler, Richard and Carol Fowler, Philip and Cynthia Fowler all of Rochester. Grandchildren include Stephen Fowler and Amy LeClair, Jeremy Fowler and Jennifer Hanley, Ryan Fowler, Leah Sprowl, Richard and Eva Fowler, Peter Fowler and Megan Kramer, Elizabeth Fowler, Morgan, Blake and Bailey Fowler. Great grandchildren include Ashley and Brooke Esslinger, Ryleigh and Cody Sprowl, and Kalee Fowler.
