Martha M. Martineau ... enjoyed trips to Foxwoods

ROCHESTER - Martha M. Martineau, 100, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014, at the Rochester Manor following a period of failing health.

Born November 24, 1913, in Pittsfield, she was the daughter of Fedore and Catherine (Driscoll) Danis.

Mrs. Martineau worked at various Holiday Inns as a Department Manager.

Martha loved traveling all over the world, shopping, going out to dinner, and taking trips to Foxwoods.

Members of her family include two daughters Patricia Benton of Rochester; and Jane Fadden of Essex Jct. Vt.; her grandchildren Kathleen McGurty, Patricia Tingley, Michael Benton, Kimberly Pellitier, Lisa Philbrick, Sean Columbia, Erin Pierce, and Colleen Fadden, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as one niece and nephew.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph R. Martineau in 1960 and her son Dr. Richard Moore.
