ALFRED, Maine - Gallery on the Green of Alfred will participate in the 6th Annual Maine Pottery Tour on Saturday and Sunday.
The gallery will be opened from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with clay-based activities each day. Potter Kathleen King will be working on the wheel each afternoon under the white tent (weather permitting).
There will be clay and stamps for designing tiles and hotplates, which can glazed and fired off-site, so creations can be ready for pickup in just a few weeks.
