Lebanon kindergarten signups next month

LEBANON - Kindergarten Registration for children entering kindergarten in September 2014 will be held on Wednesday, May 7, and Friday, May 9, at the Hanson Elementary School. Children are encouraged to attend.

Kindergarten Screening dates will be Friday June 13, Monday June 16, Tuesday June 17 and Wednesday June 18. Please call today to book your time for both kindergarten registration and screening.

You may also stop by the Hanson School office between 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. anytime

between now and then to pick up your preregistration packet.

All children registering for kindergarten MUST bring the following information to

registration. No child will be able to start school without all required documentation:

Proof of residency – (ex. utility bill, tax bill, rent receipt –PO boxes are NOT considered proof of residency);  Child’ Birth Certificate and Immunization record

Children must reside in Lebanon with their legal guardian(s). District policy prohibits children staying with non-custodial relatives to attend school in our district.

Children MUST be 5 years old by OCTOBER 15th, 2014. No exceptions can be made for children born after this date as stated with Maine State Law.
