Lebanon chimney fire knocked down quickly

WEST LEBANON - An early morning chimney fire in Lebanon was quickly knocked down Thursday morning.

The fire was called in around 5 a.m. and destroyed the chimney at 8 Prospect Hill Road. Lebanon Fire Chief Skip Wood said fire got a little into the wall, but was brought under control quickly.

He said the house is still livable, but the chimney was condemned.

Both Milton and Lebanon Fire responded to the call.
