MILTON - The state Fire Marshal's Office said today they continue to investigate the fatal fire that occurred on Depot Pond Road and are awaiting autopsy results from the state medical examiner's office.

Anthony Disciscio, 59, was found dead in the kitchen area of his downstairs apartment by Milton firefighters who responded to the call around 9 p.m. after a neighbor called 911.

When Milton fire apparatus arrived at 23 Depot Pond Road a short time later, smoke was seen and fire discovered in the area of the first-floor kitchen.

Preliminary indications are that Disciscio may have been using medical oxygen in close proximity to smoking materials, officials said.

Disciscio had lived in Milton for at least five years, having moved from Masschusetts, an acquaintance said.
