MILTON - A rash of early morning thefts from unlocked cars plagued the Heron Circle are of Milton early Wednesday, prompting multiple requests for help from Milton Police.
According to Milton Police Cpl. Andrew Magargee, the crimes are being carried out mostly between the hours of 3-5:30 a.m.
One victim witnessed the suspect inside his vehicle and told police that he chased the suspect down the street but was unable to catch him.
Multiple vehicles in the area were found to have property stolen from them, including medications, money and clothing.
The suspect was described as heavy set and may also operate a black sedan. Milton Police urge residents to secure their vehicles and to report any suspicious activity to the department by calling 652-4500.
