Frisbie film focuses on food insecurity at local level

ROCHESTER - Frisbie Memorial Hospital announced recently that it will be hosting a screening of the film, A Place at the Table, on March 26 at 6 p.m.

A Place at the Table is a thought-provoking documentary examining the “economic, social and cultural” implications of hunger in America. Learn why so many people struggle with food insecurity, and how a lack of healthy and affordable food options affects population health.

A panel discussion featuring Claire Bloom, Executive Director of End 68 Hours of Hunger and Susan Ford, Executive Director at The Homeless Center for Strafford County, will follow the 84 minute film to help shine light on the issue of food insecurity in Strafford County.

The event will be held at the Community Education & Conference Center, located on the hospital campus at 11 Whitehall Road, Rochester, N.H.
