EAST LEBANON - At least four people, including an 11-month-old girl, were injured on Sunday in a two-car collision in the area of Colonial Mobile Home Park on Route 202 in East Lebanon.

When Lebanon and Sanford emergency personnel arrived around 4 p.m. they found one vehicle on its side, according to Sanford Regional Communications Director Bill Tower.

The infant was transported with what were described as minor injuries, while a 31-year-old female suffered a neck injury, which was also described as nonlife-threatening.

Two other patients were transported with injuries that also were not thought to be life-threatening.

Both Sanford Rescue 3 and Lebanon Rescue 2 were on scene and transported all four patients to Frisbie Memorial Hospital, according to Tower.

Lebanon Fire was also on hand and worked to mitigate a radiator fluid leak caused by the crash.

The accident scene was cleared around 4:40 p.m.

State Police were also on hand, but were not available for comment today.

Lebanon Fire and Rescue were also not immediately available.

The stretch of road from Trains to Creamery Hill has been the site of numerous serious accidents in the past several years, including one which killed 102-year-old Lebanon native Walter Rand, who succumbed to injuries nine days after a July crash two years ago.
