MILTON MILLS - Anthony Morrill has been around lumber and sawmills his entire life.

After all, his dad, Adrian Morrill, had a saw mill in Milton Mills for years.

So last year when Anthony Morrill decided to start Branch River Services, a tree-cutting and outbuilding construction company, it just seemed natural that his dad would be part of it.

Out of their headquarters on Applebee Road the two fashion all manner of outbuildings using wood cut from local forests.

Anthony Morrill said if someone needs to have trees cleared from their land, Branch River Services will take it down, often defraying the cost by taking the trees to mill into lumber.

The pair also builds an assortment of outbuildings, including tool sheds, chicken coops, and garages of all sizes.

Anthony Morrill said all their lumber is true to form, meaning a 2 x 4 is a 2 x 4, not something less.

He added that their outbuildings are "twice as strong as manufactured sheds and half the cost."

A typical 6' by 8' shed goes for $800, which includes all the hardware and comes with a floor on a slab.

The price even includes a 25-mile delivery radius.

"We like working together as a team," Anthony Morrill said. "It makes it fun."
