BRENTWOOD, N.H. - The former veteran Middleton, N.H., police officer charged with drunken driving after a crash in Milton in April had a case status hearing on Thursday at which his trial was set for an unspecified date after Jan. 18.

Sean Dolliver, a patrolman and 16-year veteran with the force, is no longer with the department after initially being put on paid administrative leave after his arrest.

The trial was originally to have taken place this summer in Rochester District Court, but the venue was changed due to a possible conflict of interest concern with the presiding judge.

Prior to trial Dolliver will have a trial management conference at the Brentwood court. No date was set for the conference as of today.

Dolliver was involved in a rollover crash in the area of 323 Governors Road around 11 p.m. on April 28.

Police say Dolliver's vehicle took out a fence post and rolled over in a ditch.

Dolliver, who was alone in the car and uninjured in the crash, is facing his first

DWI charge.
