Donald A. Lamie ... formerly of Rochester

DELAND, Fla. - Donald A. Lamie, of Deland, Fla., formerly of Rochester, N.H., died on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Deland Hospital in Deland, Florida. Born on February 26, 1947, he was the son of Alfred and Rhea Lamie.
He was a veteran of the Marines serving for 21 years and eventually achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. He moved to Florida in the early 1990's. He was an avid golfer and he liked to bowl. He also enjoyed fishing.
He leaves behind his mother, Rhea Lamie of Rochester N.H., his brother Andrew of Alton, his sister Susan White of Rochester, brother Jeffrey of East Rochester, and brother Brian of Milton. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Don was predeceased by his longtime partner Yvette Zakas and his father Alfred A. Lamie.
