MILTON - Barbara Edith Pearson Seaward Thompson, 90, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.
She was a daughter of George and Ruth (Stetson) Pearson and was born in Center Ossipee, N.H. on February 20, 1924. She graduated from Center Ossipee High School and went on to secretarial school at MacIntosh College in Dover, N.H.
Barbara worked for a time at the Sylvania Co. in Dover until she met Chester T. Seaward, at church. They were married on October 4, 1946 and loved each other for 33 wonderful years.
Barbara was a devoted and loving wife, beloved mother (to Bob, Dave and Kim), loving grandmother (to Kristine, Robert, Andrew, Christopher and Russ) wonderful great-grandmother (to Jacob, Lexi, Josh, Trent, Jon, Emma, Logan and Charlie) and loved her granddogs;Dugal and Bay.
She loved being with her family and her dog Benny. She enjoyed playing board and card games, croquet, knitting, crocheting, sewing, attending church, baking cookies, bird watching, gardening, and the beautiful outdoors. She especially loved winter.
Barbara was predeceased by her first husband, Chester of 33 years in 1979, and her second husband, Edwin of 20 years, in 2011. She was also predeceased by her brother Donal Pearson and her sister Ruth Elizabeth Kennard.
