WEST LEBANON - Folk band Bertha's Crib will be the featured entertainment scheduled for Tuckaway Tree Farm's 2nd Annual Artisan Weekend on Oct. 11-12.

"We're very excited to have this group," said Lynne Park, co-owner of Tuckaway and organizer of Artisan Weekend on Sunday. "They are wonderful."

The event will showcase a number of talented artisans, small businesses and local farms and growers from Lebanon and the surrounding area.

Businesses represented and co-participating are Tuckaway Tree Farm, Prospect Hill Winery, Belgian Meadows Farm, Sirois Family Farm, Two Toad Farm, and Crafty Cat.

This two-day event will take place at Tuckaway Tree Farm, located at 301 Shapleigh Road in Lebanon and is a rain or shine event.

Some of the locally made or hand-crafted items that will be available include folk baskets, acrylic and watercolor paintings, goat milk soaps, drawings and photography, fabric bags, primitive creations, pottery, wood-turned bowls and pens, organic and locally grown produce, recycled media lamps, mittens and angora wool items and outdoor wood furniture.

There will also be wine tasting at nearby Prospect Hill Winery on Orrills Hill Road.

Nearby Belgian Meadows Farm at the corner of Merchants Row and Shapleigh Road will have pumpkins for sale as well.

Food will be provided by Jan Brooks' food trailer, Lacey's Kitchen, which many have seen every year at the Rochester Fair. Among other items made by Brooks are her buffalo burgers, plus homemade soups and chowders. (To read a Lebanon Voice story on Lacey's Kitchen from last year click here.)

There will also be dessert items for sale by the West Lebanon Ladies Circle, with proceeds going to their scholarship fund.

Berthas Crib will perform on Oct. 11 from 1-3 p.m.

Artisan Weekend hours for both Saturday and Sunday are 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
